Supplemental Mathematics Study Group for statistics courses
May 23 2017 at 9:00 AM
Undergraduate Library, David Adamany
Supplemental Mathematics Study Groups (SMSG) help students get a better understanding of the mathematics materials covered in their course. SMSGs focus on specific courses. These study groups do NOT take the place of the regular mathematics class. There will also be discussions on study skills and study habits which can improve overall performance. Students will be challenged to make connections among the mathematical concepts.   The statistics SMSG is geared to students taking STA 1020, BA 2300, and PSY 3010. Each department has its particular details. The SMSG will focus on the basic statistics and probability aspects.   For more information, go to the Academic Success Center webpage or contact Len Hernandez.   Right Click and 'open the image in a new tab' for the Supplemental Mathematics Study Group flyer.
