King-Chavez-Parks Distinguished Visiting Professors Forum on Career Development 2016

The Wayne State University Graduate School invites you to attend a  Forum on Career Development presented by the  2016 King-Chavez-Parks (KCP) Distinguished Visiting Professors. Ethriam Brammer, PhD Eastern Michigan University  Ypsilanti, MI   Kish Golden, PhD Merck & Co. Milton, GA   Crystal Hill-Pryor, PhD US Army Medical Research Fort Detrick, MD     Established by the Michigan Legislature in 1986, the goal of the Martin Luther King, Jr. - César Chávez - Rosa Parks (KCP) Initiative is to increase the number of Michigan's most educationally or economically disadvantaged citizens who have the opportunity to complete college degrees and experience career success as active participants in a knowledge-based global economy. The KCP forum showcases former Wayne State University graduates who were KCP Fellows. The presenters will speak on the challenges and opportunities they experienced during their careers and share their wisdom with current students and faculty about succeeding in graduate school and beyond.     Thursday, Sept. 15, 2016 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Alumni Lounge Lunch will be served at 1 p.m. RSVP by Sept. 1, 2016.   Funding for this program is, in part, provided by the King-Chavez-Parks Initiative.
